The power of the sun naturally forms our pure lake salt from brines that rise from deep, pollution free aquifers fed by the Winter rains. The brine is filtered by natural clay beds in the lake resulting in high purity and brilliant white salt.
The top 1-2cm of the salt crust is sustainably harvested from a small portion of the lake, leaving the Salt Harvest Sanctuary largely untouched.
